Lines: 18 I just inherited a 4 meg RAM , 40 meg hard disk Dell 386 box. Its just that being a Unix person I dont know a diddly about P.C.'s. I went down to a neighbourhood bookstore to find a few books. The only thing I seemed to find were a) Books that went into painstaking detail about DOS command syntax b) Assembly language programming for 80*86 I would appreciate any info about books that give a more low level "systems approach" to how a P.C. is setup (Memory management, BIOS etc), as well a good DOS reference guide.
