Van anyone tell me anything about this printer?  How old is it? what is it
compatible with, etc.

It seems to work fine with word perfect, but pc-write has real problems with
it.  The guy at the store that sold it to us says that it "should" emulate
an epson ( which all the software thinks it is.) I've had enough flakey
problems with this thing to think that it isn't very epson compatible.
