If you ask it to set up two hercules graphics pages using MS mg2 -nonresident then it writes a word containing two "m" characters to location 1A27:2072 in memory. (This is running on a clean system, with memory filled with nulls; I don't know what happens if you run it after memory is full of crap). It took me so long to notice because usually that location is safe to write to, but I just loaded another device driver, and pushed Sidekick to segment 1A27... CRASH!! Duncan Murdoch
