Sorry to bring this topic up again and to post it here rather than EMail
to the original poster but I still cannot reach him via EMail.
 
I would like to see all of the MS/PC-DOS versions honor ALL of the file
attribute bits. For example, I would like to see DEL check not just the
file's ReadOnly/ReadWrite attribute bit but also the Directory's ReadOnly/
ReadWrite bit. Directories can also be made Hidden, ReadOnly, and System
type files so why not implement the code to honor those bits. I, personally,
would like to put all of the DOS files on a ReadOnly Hidden System directory.

Just a thought.
