I have never before changed the battery in my cheap Taiwan-motherboard AT clone (circa 1987). Actually it is a Quantus 286 if anyone remembers that N.H. company that went bust. I have puchased a Rayovac 844 alkaline computer battery which claims is good for most 286 AT clones. But I find nothing on the motherboard that resembles it, nor anything with the same connector. Anyone have a clue what to look for and whereabouts? Or does it vary too much among the clones? Any tips would be most appreciated.
