The Wren V ESDI disk works fine in a BSD RT; the Wren VI ESDI will not
work. 

Steve is right, buy the Adaptec and a SCSI disk (I know Wren VIs and
VIIs work with it). Also, with a little bit of effort you can attach
an Exabyte to back everything up.
