You can create a PICT resource out of a part of an Illustrator document by holding down the Option key while selecting Copy. You can paste this picture into a word processor (for example) and when printing on a Postscript printer the Illustrator Postscript will be used. I'm not sure how you would convert the picture on the Clipboard to a PICT file. You can paste it into a drawing program, but you would lose the picture comments that contain the Postscript representation.-- Larry Rosenstein, Object Specialist Apple Computer, Inc. 20525 Mariani Ave, MS 77-A Cupertino, CA 95014 AppleLink:Rosenstein1 domain:lsr@Apple.COM UUCP:{sun, voder, nsc, decwrl}!apple!lsr
