Thanks to all those who responded to my previous posting. I sent personal mail
to some, but with more responses coming in, it's just too time-consuming.
   It turns out (I checked the utilities manual) that Apple File Exchange can
read and translate a foreign binary file on a Mac-formatted disk (if you
download it as such to your Mac), so what I need now is the translator that
converts AppleWorks word processing files to Microsoft Works.  Can anyone
e-mail this to me, or tell me from where I could ftp it?
