Lines: 24 We have a network of suns and one lone un-netted Mac Se. The Mac has no special network hardware (i.e. Ethernet stuff), and has a Laser printer hooked on. My boss says he wants this mac interfaced somehow, and wants it done for the least about of $$$ possible. My question is, what are the networking hardware/software options? 1) Can the Mac be hooked to a Sun via the serial ports to run some kind of SLIP? The Mac wouldn't be extensively used for real-time stuff, mostly file transfer etc. 2) Can other things (i.e. the Sun) be made to send files to the Mac's Laser printer? Thanks for the help, Steven schriste@uceng.uc.edu -- Steven V. Christensen U.C. College of Eng. schriste@uceng.uc.edu
