Lines: 33 Hi Netters, I am having trouble downloading files from our UNIX server at school to my mac at home. Is any one out there doing this successfully? I got mcvert, unsit, macbinary, and zmodem from the sumex archive. I successfully (I think) compiled all these programs and here's what I do: 1) use mcvert to convert the *.hqx files to *.sit.bin files 2) use unsit to unstuff the *.sit.bin files. 3) use macbinary to get a binary file out of the unstuffed files. All is well at this point. But when I log on to the server from home and try to send the file using the zmodem protocal, I cannot get anything through- the command sz (part of zmodem) sends a 1024 byte block through the modem, White Knight automatically picks it up, and then the whole thing just hangs there. Nothing more comes through the phone line... What am I doing wrong? I can still use text capture to download the .hqx files and do the decoding and unstuffing on the Mac but that's painfully slow 70% of the time. Any pointer to the right direction is greatly appreciated. Oh, the hardware/software used here are SPARCStation 1 running SunOS 4.0.3c and Mac IIcx running System 6.0.5 and White Knight 11.0 -Heng <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Heng-Yi Lin >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> #include | Brown University | cs132096@cs.brown.edu #include | Class of 92 | cs132096@browncs.bitnet >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
