Count me as one of the "Wonder Bread Believers".  I've had a LaCie 80 meg
hard drive for the past 2 years and have never had to run SilverLining
twice to mount the hard disk.  I have only formatted the drive twice,
once before using it with my MacPlus, and once before I upgraded to a
IIci.  In both cases, I just wanted to make sure the drive was at the
best interleave factor.

The current system I use the drive with is:
    Mac IIci
    Apple Tape Backup (set to SCSI address 2)
    System Software 6.0.5
    Silver Lining 5.16
    Countless init's

I would highly recommend the LaCie drives and the SilverLining software.
