Message-ID: <6700@rouge.usl.edu> Date: 13 Apr 90 19:48:27 GMT Sender: anon@rouge.usl.edu Organization: The Center for Advanced Computer Studies, USL Lines: 15 I have a relatively ancient 512K which I upgraded to 1 meg, SCSI, and two fairly flaky 800K floppies. I *really* need a hard drive and have been considering one of the Syquest drives now that the prices have been falling. However, I will undoubtedly fill up more than one cartridge (probably 3 or 4). I have had many painful experiences doing the floppy-disk-shuffle and I am curious how bad it would be if I needed to access other cartridges occaisionally. I would appreciate you sharing your experiences with me. Please e-mail and I'll summarize if there is enough of an interest. Thanks, Gary Thompson gat@gator.cacs.usl.edu
