Message-ID: <11007@unix.SRI.COM> Date: 14 Apr 90 00:31:31 GMT Reply-To: mxmora@sri-unix.sri.com (Matt Mora) Organization: SRI International, Menlo Park, CA Lines: 26 I have a quick question about SndPlay. When I sample a sound with macrecorder and play it it sounds fine. When I save the file as a 'snd ' and play it with sound edit it still sounds fine. But if I play that 'snd ' with sndplay the sound is all distorted. This only happens on my SE. My Mac II plays the sound just fine. I thought that it might be my program so I played the sound in resedit and it also played the sound distorted. What is going on? What is wrong with sndPlay? The 'snd ' works with Sound Edit why not with sndplay. My SE has system 6.0.4 and 2.5 megs o' memory. it also has a levco speed card in it. I disabled the speed card and it still sounds funny. Does anyone have any clues? Thanks -- ___________________________________________________________ Matthew Mora SRI International mxmora@unix.sri.com ___________________________________________________________
