Recently, someone tried to log into the root account from a remote machine 
with the proper password without success.  Now, I can su to root with that
password and can log into the console, but attempts with telnet or rlogin 
meet with no success.  I'm sure that there's a simple explanation, but I'm
not in a thinking mood right now.  Any suggestions?
