I totally agree - I am just running a VMS VAX using TCP/IP to the IRIS 
and X is running fine (Product of DEC called UCX Ver. 1.2 giving me the TCP/IP, 
and VMS 5.3 the DECWindows). 
Why should I bother about NeWS ?
