We have a problem with our sun 3/160 which we just upgraded to SunOS 4.0.3. We have 8 meg of memory and 2 Fujitsu M2284 drives. After the upgrade the system seems quite slow. I ran a vmstat 5 2000 and looked at the output and I noticed that quite a number of times we had 4 to 10 processes in the blocked state, the paging was 150 - 225 (Pages per second?) and 40 to 60 % idle cpu time. I'm not a unix guru and I am not very familiar with this so I'm lost. Thanks to anyone for help. If you mail to me at beoneel@well.uucp I'll post a summary.
