The online tutorial, shipped in the example directory, has good examples
of lighting and shading, complete with source code.  BTW, double buffering
performance is about 6 times faster on the GXP using SunPHIGS 1.2, which
just shipped.  If you need double buffering on the GXP, I suggest getting
1.2.
