I upgraded mine a year ago for about $100. I bought the memory chips from a local third party computer retailer (DATEL - here in San Diego). I do recall though that it was a pain inserting some of the chips into the sockets that are somewhat buried under the lower floppy drive's chassis. I haven't priced memory chips lately, and I doubt if its the same as when I bought them. In any case, I wouldn't buy them from a Radio Shack retailer. Matter of fact, I bought my original system from a RS discounter. Check out your area's "Computer Buyer" (or whatever its called where your at) publication. That's where I found a good price/location comparison. Keep in mind that if you get a bad chip(s) you'll have to return till you get good one(s). Driving back and forth can be a pain too, if you get bad ICs. Good Luck! Mark..
