Hello BibTeX hackers,

I'm needing a BibTeX style that allows sorting according to the date
(for a publication list). 

Before I try hacking it myself I'd like to ask the question (I know
I'm lazy :-) ):
Does anyone know of such a thing ?

Please post the answers; other people might be interested too.
