I left out the reasons WHY I am interested in this information. In the DataFlex language, there is no chdir command, and I wish to be able to change directories from within a DataFlex program. At the moment, all I can do is exit the program, change directories, then re-run the program. If there is any other way to perform this function, that information would be helpful as well. There are other things for which a BDOS type of operation would be handy, but chdir would be the primary one. I have already received a number of responses which have mentioned section (2) of the manuals. My thanks to those who have supplied this information. I will look into it. Unfortunately, there is no such section to the manuals of SCO xenix, but I should be able to find out something from the SYSV 3.2 manuals for a Unisys 5000/85 system to which I have access. -- Robert Barrell | ...!cbmvax!gvlv2!lock60!rdb1!root | Cody Computer Services Milo's Meadow BBS | root@rdb1.canal.org | 55 East High Street login: nuucp or bbs |-----------------------------------| Pottstown, PA 19464 (215) 323-0497 | Business and Police Dept Software | (215) 326-7476
