Keywords: mail11v3,mail Message-ID: <1711@cernvax.UUCP> Date: 8 Apr 90 10:23:13 GMT Organization: CERN, Geneva, Switzerland Lines: 18 In order to try to put sendmail/mail11v3 to their limits I tried with a message going to VMSmail with 512 receipients of the type dummyuser@host.dnet and 1 recipient with a real VMS username. (ca. 12000 bytes in the To: field). Mail11v3 could deliver the mail to the real receipient, but now the message body of the resulting VMSmail was _empty_ and the original message body was in the Subject field together with some control characters and '$' chars :-) and the subject field was in the To field !! Any comments to that one ? It was a VMS 5.1-B system in the other end. cheers Jens Trier Rasmussen CERN-CN/CS
