ICS, please.  You neglected to include this line-

We do pay our staff.  Here, we're trying to give students a way to attend 
the conference and learn things that probably aren't available as part of
their regular curriculum. 

We make no apologies for being a successful, growing business.  We don't 
pretend to be anything but that.  (And don't think we wouldn't mind some of 
the tax and postage benefits enjoyed by "non-profit" organizations.)

think that we're too expensive.
