No problems in installation, except that I had to use gcc. Convex's cc gave "symbol table full" errors. But now that I have it installed I have one real problem. I wonder if anyone has had a similar problem, or can offer advice. If I have a panel with two or more text fields, when the panel comes up, the first item will have the caret. When I click on another item, I get the following message repeated many, many times: Selection library internal error: Select call returned error An example that has this problem is clients/demos/xv_panel_basic_items.c. When it comes up, the caret is on the slider's text field. Clicking on the other text field causes the error. I'm running on the Convex, and displaying on a sparc. I'm running the latest versions of XView, olgx, and olwm. If anybody has any ideas on what might be wrong, I'll be most grateful. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Steve Cole (steve@hanauma.stanford.edu, apple!hanauma!steve) Department of Geophysics, Stanford University, Stanford, CA 94305
