See the March 1989 edition of RADIO ELECTRONICS magazine. In it is the schematic for a "Universal LASER power supply". This supply was designed to accommodate a wide variety of helium-neon tubes, both old and new, up to a maxiumum power output of about 5 milliwatts. If you can't get ahold of that, you can get an etched and drilled PC board, and a kit of ALL parts (excluding project box) for $39+$3 shipping+handling. Here is the address: General Science and Engineering P.O. Box 447 Rochester, NY 14603 Phone: (716) 338-7001 It looks like a heck of a deal, since I've seen laser power supplies go for a minimum of $50 at a bargain shop. -- Jim "Lips" Earl UUCP: ucbvax!ucdavis!csusac!mmsac!jim KB6KCP INTERNET: mmsac!jim@csusac.csus.edu ======================================================================= The opinions stated herein are all mine.
