I do not want to use the obvious solution of wiring a relay or solenoid into the circuit because of a) the size of the components and b) the physical nature of the devices. Ideally what I want is a small solid-state device that detects current flow in the cable. Can anybody help me or direct me to a source of knowledge on the subject. Many thanks in advance. +-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------------+ | Chris Winter | uucp: ..!uunet!ntcpyr!chris | | Nixdorf Computer Engineering Corp | Home: (408) 997 6537 | | Technology Center | Work: (408) 748 0420 | | 2520 Mission College Blvd. | Fax : (408) 748 0423 | | Santa Clara CA 95054 | Twx : (910) 338 2250 | +-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------------+
