	Sun. April 9 1865

	Grant and Lee meet at Appomattox (sp) Court House
	and agree on Surrender terms.

	Some days later Sherman offers very generous terms
	to Johnston (sp) that cause much consternation
	throughout the north.  But soon enough he is
	forgiven.
