Can someone help me with what they believe to be are the most significant risks associated with software development, and possible risk mitigation strategies ? Examples are: Gold-plating and creeping featurism, both mitigated by the establishing and enforcing of a requirements database. Also, I know Barry Boehm as well as other authors wrote a number of articles on this area. Can someone please point me to the references.
