I am using CMS 5.6 (VM/XA 1.2.1) and the CONSOLE macro. When run the application within XEDIT, I get the following message: DMSXSC917E No windows are showing virtual screen XEDIT Does the transparent write destroy the XEDIT vscreen environment? The application works fine from full-screen CMS and from ISPF programs. If I save the vscreen information, run the application, and define the vscreens from the saced information, everything works fine.
