However: I am looking for an algorithm, or a program which will only run on machine that has support for IEEE Standard for Floating point arithmetic. I am also interested to see that how NAN's and Infinity arithmetic of this standard has been used. my questions are: - Why they are in this standard(NAN's, +/- infinity) ? - Is there a numerical algorithm that uses these concepts ?
