I just received my copy of Minix for PH the other day and attampted to boot up. I put in the boot disk, then the root disk, and I got the message: "File system panic. Unrecoverable disk error on device 2/0, block 1." I assume the disks are really ok, I have the 8088 version of Minix and am trying to run it on a 386 clone with a 1.2M drive. Is there some kind of workaround, or do I really have to go out and get an 8088 machine with 360k drives? Thanks in advance.
