Message-ID: <604@lee.SEAS.UCLA.EDU> Date: 6 May 90 22:05:43 GMT Sender: news@SEAS.UCLA.EDU Reply-To: hsiung@boole.seas.ucla.edu (Jack F. I have version 1.2, and I've been trying to install it into my hard drive without success. I have a 386 with an ESDI hard disk. I want to install MINIX into the fifth partition, but the driver I made with mknod doesn't seem to work. MINIX seems to recognize only the first two partitions using the drivers created with mknod. Did I do something wrong or missed something? Another peculiar thing I noticed is that after boot-up, I have to switch my computer down from 25mhz to 12 in order for the root file system disk to load properly. Otherwise I get disk errors.
