As Russ Nelson pointed out, this means that unless you ask me first, you have to distribute patches and the original separately, rather than in a single patched version. People do this anyway, as unpackaging, patching, and repackaging software is error-prone and accomplishes little. I don't see any reason for this to cause concern. Matt, why do you feel compelled to post these childish attempts to discourage people from the normal distribution of my code? If you have purely good intentions, why don't you try saving the net some bandwidth and angst by telling me your concerns through e-mail before you post? Could you at least read 17 USC before you talk about copyright law?
