For much a while, the addition of v.32 ability has made for a speedy connection to our upstream site. Woe and despair, the throughput still verily scrapes the bottom of the baud-barrel. Now that we have a fast line, we need a fast uucp to utilise it. Hardware is Concord 386/25 30 Megahertz, O/S = Unix SysV release 3 + concurrent Dos. Or perhaps there is a freeware replacement for our beloved Honey-Dunbar which Cnews can talk to happily... Many thanks to all those nice netters who are bound to reply. -- ____________ Brian Burroughs (Potential Guru), GCS Ltd ____________ ___________ Ph: +64 4 801 8000 ____ Fax: +64 4 801 8888 ___________ ___________________ Wellington ____ New Zealand ___________________ ______________________ brian@c3ns1.gcs.co.nz ______________________
