This is how the Amiga knows when a disk is inserted. Unfortunately, they only signal the disk change when the heads are stepped to a different track. Hence the click- click-click-click from Amiga drives. The trackdisk.device is moving the heads back and forth between two tracks, so that it will get the disk-inserted signal. -eric hopp hopp@stolaf.edu
