Recently, I have downloaded a file, describing how to increase the speed of
the A500 to 14 MHZ. In the accompaning manual Leslie Ayling tells that the
performance of the Amiga is increased with 70%!

Well, that's for the A500. However, I own a A2000. This is my hardware
configurartion:

	A2000B (Rev 4.4)
	2 MB Microbotics DIP Fast RAM
	Kickstart 1.3
	Agnus 8372 (1MB Chip RAM)
	XT Board
	Seagate PC Harddisk ST-138R (30MB, RLL)
	PC Parrallel/Serial interface card.

According to the manual the same electronic circuit can be used for the
A1000 and A2000. So, I will probably build it. However, I intend to use the
processor slot to hold the upgrade board (and remove the old 68000 from
it's socket). The advantages are clear:

     * No bending of CPU pins
     * No soldering to the Agnus socket
     * No soldering to the Denise socket

Because I don't see a way to keep the wires to the switch SHORT in a A2000,
I probably will leave the 7/14 Mhz switch out.

Before I start, I would like to hear about your experiences with the 14 Mhz
extension; especially if you have altered your A2000! Also, I wonder wether
there are any timing or clock problems? I don't expect this, since only the
CPU will work faster. Finally, can anyone tell me wether I can put a
expansion card into the CPU slot, connecting only the pins required by the
CPU and the 14 Mhz extension?
