HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I am having some very annoying problems with an Apollo DN4500 running SR 10.2
of the OS, 6.7 of the C compiler, and 1.2.2 of the C++ compiler. I have the
machine on loan from my local HP office for some development work and it came
pre-installed, although I did install the C++ compiler myself. I also installed
NFS, but I doubt it should be causing any problems.

All of the problems are intermittent, but very frustrating. Hopefully someone
out there will be able to tell me how to fix them.

1.) REBOOTING PROBLEM:

NOTE: After I tell it to `go' a couple of times, it finally does boot up.

2.) LOGIN PROBLEM:

I get the cute motif login window, I enter my username and password, I get
the familiar grey background, but instead of my xclients starting up it kicks
me back to the login window. After several tries at this it usually lets me
in. It doesn't always behave like this, but often enough that I avoid logging
out.

3.) LOADER PROBLEM:

I have loaded up to 1 meg executables without any problem, but every so often
the loader gets upset and refuses to load anything.

I also have had another problem with the loader where it will complain about
the .sri and .mir portions of libXt.a. But again it usually does work and I can
run the executables generated.
