Seems (from my totally ignorant understanding) that both work in roughly the same way: the gs draws filled objects?? If I understand it the hdtv works on filled polygons. I know its a long shot, but how's this for a suggestion on a rom 5: modify the graphics kernal to support hdtv standards. Gives the gs a jump on everybody else who is working with ntsc. (of course this assumes that either the graphics bottleneck everone complains about goes away, or apple works around it.) Would also allow the gs a good push into the home market: as people upgraded their tvs to hdtv the could use the hdtvs as monitors on their gs's. And as i've said and been flamed for before, I really believe a home computer should be *cheap*. Jonathan.
