It is not just the "gs vs anybody" flamage. The "Apple II forever" and related garbage just clutters up the newsgroup with non-technical, soap-box material. The comp.sys.apple2.tech vote, which was intended to deal with this problem, failed for lack of interest. The jobs group manages to keep resumes in misc.jobs.resumes and job offers in misc.jobs.offered. Maybe it is time to clean up comp.sys.apple2 in a similar way.
