On the rd52 (79MB) disk that I have on my VAXstation-2000, I am unable to
create more than 2000 files. Is there a way to circumvent this problem.
Currently I am running VMS 5.3. Every time I tried to create another new file,
all the response I get is -index file full-. This machine is only a node on the
local vax-cluster, hence contains mostly user's files.

I will appreciate any help on this matter.
