My only tape is on the 8600 running 5.0, VMS that is. The 4.3BSD tape contains 9 files. I have tried $ MOUNT/FOREIGN/BLOCK=10240/REC=1024 TAPE1: (All DCL-commands are in $ COPY TAPE1:*.*;* . capital letters, yes :-)) to get a large ".;1" file. I get a 100 Mb file which my Wollongong FTP refuses to read fully, returning some EOF-message. DECnet copy from the mVAX returns even less; that is % dcp odin::'tape1:*.*;*' .
