   Just in case you were wondering about this, the latest version
of Phil Katz's file compression utilities (PKZIP and PKUNZIP v1.10)
should run fine on DEC Rainbows. This comes straight from Phil
himself:

PKZIP, PKUNZIP, PKSFX, PKSFXjr, ZIP2EXE, PKZIPFIX, etc. should
all be 100% MS-DOS generic.  None of the software makes any
BIOS calls or directly manipulates any hardware or I/O devices.
As far as I know, the software should work just fine on
DEC-Rainbows, Sanyo's, Epson's, and other non IBM compatible
MS-DOS computers.
