I have a Toshiba 1200HB Laptop, and perhaps + to save battery power or money the serial port is not as sensitive as + it should be. The calculator recieves text Xmited but somewhat garbled.{u! + The Computer recieves nothing. What can I do? + How can I tell Toshiba that my serial port works with my modem, mouse, + but not HP48sx and therefore I want them to do something about it? I'm not sure I'd blame Toshiba: when I got the serial interface kit for my HP48sx, I decided to use my Toshiba 1200HB to avoid crawling around behind furniture with cables to connect to my desktop, and it's worked fine. I haven't tried moving files from the HP to the Toshiba, but Toshiba to the HP has worked flawlessly, and I assume that there is enough handshaking etc so that if the Toshiba totally ignored the HP I'd know about it.
