Lines: 16 Since I installed 6.0.5 on a couple of Mac IIs, Ive been having a lot of problems. (Not due to viruses - Ive checked). Some of the worst ones seem to be that somehow, the disk low level structures are getting corrupted. (For what its worth, Im using Desktop Manager and quite a few other inits). Each machine has two hard disks, and on each of them, its got to the stage where Disk First Aid has reported that it was unable to verify the status of one of the disks. In one case, the disk became unmountable, and I had to restore it from a backup. On the other machine, the SUM Shield Init now seems to just hang on shutdown. Ive also had a problem with Wingz crashing on its second launch - which Ive been told is a problem with the way Wingz manages its memory, and changes Apple made in 6.0.5. Anyhow - can anyone shed any light on these disk problems? - remember, its happening on 2 different machines, and I think its more than a coincidence. Thanks. Ralph
