We've timed a long program build (almost completely diskbound) on a Mac IIfx
and a Mac IIci with a large RAM cache.  The IIfx finished in 19 minutes.
The IIci finished in 21 minutes.  I'd say the disk transfer rate is exactly
the same on both machines.
