Problem: Although I can log in just fine, when I try to transfer
a file I get a "Bad Input Clear -28" error message and then Kermit times out.

Setup: IIci, 2400 baud modem, system 6.0.5, happens under Finder
and MultiFinder.  Mail to info-kermit at columbia still unanswered.
(Kermit version 0.98(60)).
