I also downloaded The Grouch (also the latest from sumex). Now, The Grouch works fine (and since I have Kermit on my Mac, I'm rapidly getting the entire cast of Sesame Street here!), but I get either the FinderSound sound or no sound (if I disable the trash can sound in Finder Sounds). Is there any way of getting The Grouch to do its sound thing with Finder Sounds active? I have copied one of The Grouch's sounds into Finder Sounds for the trash emptying, so I get *one* of the sounds *after* Oscar has done his thing. A compromise that works, but I'd like to get Oscar to do his singing (both songs) in his own time. If anyone has any insight into this, please let me know! The future of the free world depends on it!!!! :-) -Eric ericf@zurich.ai.mit.edu
