I've tried using MacLayers to download, but to no avail. I inevitably get 10 error retries, sometimes after a couple of blocks have transferred, sometimes with no blocks moved. I've placed our communications lines in raw mode, so all non-printing characters will pass. 2. MacLayers (on the terminal emulator side) does not allow ctrl-s and ctrl-q to be transmitted. They seem to always be interpreted as flow control characters. This wreaks havoc with Emacs. Any suggestions? -- Skip (montanaro@crdgw1.ge.com)
