We have 2 original laserwriters. both occasionally have a problem with streaks 
down the page. Even if the fuser is scratched/peeling, replacing it does not
help (we have replaced both on occasion). Changing the toner cartridge solves
the problem. We use only brand new cartridges from apple.

Is the problem poor quality control or bad storage/handling, i.e., wrong end
up, very hot warehouse, ...?
