Sorry if it bursts your plans, but I heard the file format for hypercard
was PROPRIETARY!  I asked a panel of Apple developers (at CD-ROM
conference in SanFrancisco) that same question:
Me:    I love the mac, but my company uses a lot of IBM. Is there any way
       to use Stacks from another platform.
Apple: <silence>  (then) That wouldn't be in our best interest ... The
       Hypercard format is proprietary

Hmph.  So much for the "computer for the rest of us".  Sure - if the
rest of us ALL HAVE MACINTOSHES!

BTW: my source in the "hyper" world expects that PLUS for the PC will
NEVER see the light of day in the US.  Time will tell.
