Well, I'll waste the minimal bandwith possible on this: apparently Clarus in
his aleph(0) wisdom has seen fit to fix my TN Stack.  Upshot is it suddenly
started working today.  Now Clarus in doing flips with ease when I run it.

This note posted just to avoid anyone wasting time trying to solve my
(now moot) problem.
